On Sunday, February 16, following service, we will have our CIY fundraiser. Have your family join us for a pulled pork lunch and a program put on by our students and leaders. We are taking donations to help offset the cost of our trips for CIY this year.

Please have your high school students join us to watch the big game. We will be doing a "cereal bowl" party, so we ask that your student bring their favorite cereal to share. We will also be providing pizza and drinks as well.

EQUIP-RETRAIN is all about equipping High School & Middle School Student Leaders. Students will learn how to share the gospel message through your Campus Bible Group. Students will also be given tools to equip them to lead a student-led Campus Bible Group. This is a free event, and lunch will be provided. 

Have your middle and high school students join us for our final meeting of the semester. We will finish off by celebrating the birth of our Savior! We will be having a blast worshipping our king, eating snacks, and fellowshipping with friends.

We will be having a blast with our friends eating a Way tradition of pizza, fried rice, and pies! This year, we are combining it with our OCC Packing Party, where we get to help finish packing up gifts for children all across the world and have an opportunity for them to hear the Gospel.

Countryside is starting a youth theater group this Fall called LIT (Light-Inspired Theater)! LIT is for students in grades 1-8, and we are excited to start casting and putting a stage crew together for our first musical, "The Toymaker's Gift"! The performance will be Sunday, December 8 during our 10:00 AM worship service. Rehearsals will be on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 PM beginning September 8. We would love for your student(s) participate! We will hold auditions for speaking and singing roles at the September 8 rehearsal. If your child is not interested in an acting role or solo, they can choose to be in the Ensemble Chorus or the Stage Crew. We will have so much fun learning about all the aspects of theater together, and each rehearsal will have a scripture devotion and snack time. Please bring $10 per child on September 8 to help cover the cost of a show t-shirt, snacks and supplies. We look forward to working with your kids and celebrating the true meaning of Christmas through our production of "The Toymaker's Gift", written by our Worship Pastor, Jon Carmichael.

EQUIP LAUNCH | Saturday, August 24 | 9:30 AM- 2:00 PM  | First Church of the Nazarene (1400 E. Kellogg Dr.)

EQUIP-LAUNCH is day conference put on by Campus Ministries. It is all about equipping HS & MS Student Leaders. They will talk about what is the gospel. Your students will learn how to share the gospel message through their Campus Bible Group. They will also be given tools to share their faith with their peers. They will enjoy connecting with other student leaders from across the Wichita area. If your student needs a ride, we will meet by the youth center and leave at 8:30 There is no cost.

We are so excited to partner with other churches across the GWA for Launch Fest this year. This an awesome opportunity for middle and high school students to hang out and worship with brothers and sisters across our town. We will be having a blast with fun games and tournaments, and we will also have an opportunity for students to pray over all of the schools in the Wichita Area.

We want to keep hanging out with our high school students during the summer months, so on Sunday July 21, there will be a game night at Pastor Ryan and Miranda’s house! We welcome any high school students to come hang out and bring a snack to share.

We had so much fun with our middle school students at CIY MIX a couple of weeks ago, and we want to keep pouring into them, so on Wednesday, July 10, we will have a Pool Party at Iva Helm's house. We invite all middle school students to come swim and bring a snack to share!

We had such a blast at CIY MOVE this past week, and we want to keep hanging out with our high school students, so this Sunday, July 7, there will be a movie and game night at Pastor Ryan and Miranda’s house! We welcome any high school students to come hang out and bring a snack to share.

Our 5th graders are Leveling Up to The Way! We invite all current 6th and 7th graders to join us in welcoming the incoming 6th grade class! Have your students come and bring energy as we welcome our new class of students to The Way! There will be pizza and ice cream.

Our student ministry is doing one more fundraiser to help offset the cost of CIY. On Sunday, May 5, right after service, we will have a pulled pork lunch in the gym. Come by, grab a sandwich, and fellowship with us!
