Whatever is True Women's Conference
Join us at Countryside for the second annual Whatever is True Women's Conference. This event will include worship, teaching, and an opportunity to get to know other Countryside ladies through fellowship and discussion. It is open to all ladies of high school age or older. The cost is $20.

This preteen group is for fourth & fifth graders and meets every other week. Each meeting we have lunch, games, a Bible study, and sometimes a service project. Please bring $2 to help with lunch. Sub Sandwiches are on the menu this week.
Give Thanks: An Evening of Praise and Thanksgiving
Countryside will provide an evening of worship as we pray, read scripture, reflect and sing songs of praise, all in the spirit of thanksgiving and gratitude toward God for His countless blessings. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us as we turn our blessings back toward God to bless His name!
New Vision Luncheon
The New Vision Luncheon (55+) takes place on the 3rd Thursday of EVERY month. We meet at 11:45 a.m., in the Youth Center. RSVP for lunch is encouraged for both seating and food purposes. OCC Packing Party
Mark your calendars now and plan to pack a shoebox and change a life. Packing parties at Countryside will be Friday, November 22 (4:00-7:00 PM), Saturday, November 23 (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM), and Sunday, November 24 (9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.). Bring your friends, your family, or your Life Group. This is a great opportunity to serve by packing a shoe box. Packing will be staged in the Main Gym . The OCC team will provide ALL the boxes and supplies; all you need to do is bring yourself and others. Every packed shoebox is an opportunity for a child to learn about Jesus.
"The Toymaker's Gift" Christmas Musical
Countryside’s new youth theater group, LIT (Light-Inspired Theater), is proud to present our first musical, "The Toymaker's Gift"! This production features students in grades 1-8 both on the stage and behind the scenes. The performance will be Sunday, December 8 during our 10:00 AM worship service. We hope you’ll come support these young people and join us in celebrating the true meaning of Christmas through our production of "The Toymaker's Gift", written by our Worship Pastor, Jon Carmichael.
Candlelight Christmas Eve Service
Join us for Christmas Eve! We’ll have family activities in the Lobby, starting at 5:00 PM, including cookies, hot chocolate, a photo booth, and an ornament-making station. Then at 6:00 PM enjoy Christmas music and candle lighting all across the Worship Center as we reflect on and celebrate our Savior's birth, life, and more. It will be a great time to gather with your Countryside family to celebrate the Christmas holiday. You won't want to miss it!
Young Adults Semester Kick-Off Party
Young adults ages 18-25 are invited to join us on Tuesday, January 14 as we launch our new Young Adults Ministry with a Semester Kick-Off Party! We’ll meet in the Youth Center from 6:30-8:00 PM and have pizza, games, and learn more about our Young Adults group.

This year's theme is "Bear Fruit," talking about we are called to abide in Christ and if we do then we will be fruitful. This will be an awesome opportunity for our high school students to be challenged and grow in their faith, and we can't wait!

Global Gathering with Mustard Seed Network, Kyoto
You’re invited to join us in the Coffee Shop to hear from our missionary partners, Shin and Mirja Yoshidea, with Mustard Seed Network, in Kyoto, Japan. They have a fascinating story about how God works in their area and how they share God’s love there in Word and deed. Lunch will be provided. Cost is $5 person, with a $20 family cap. Ladies Bunco Night
Join us for a fun game night on Saturday, October 19 from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Coffee Shop, open to all ladies ages 10+! If you’ve never played Bunco, it is a straightforward dice game that’s fast-moving and fun to fellowship. So invite a friend or two and join us! Bring a snack and your favorite drink to share. Park on the south side of the building and enter through the middle doors.
Campus Clean Up Day
Hey, Countryside, Fall is here! We invite you to join us for our Campus Clean Up Day on Saturday, October 19 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. We’ll meet in the North Parking Lot and work on projects around the campus to prepare for the Fall and Winter months. We have projects for all ages and abilities. Come for an hour or the whole morning—many hands make light work. Help trim shrubs and bushes, clean flower beds, and a few other odds and ends around campus. Let’s invest in our campus together.

This week we will be doing a service project for Operation Christmas Child by putting together pencil packs as well as continuing our study on the kings of the Old Testament. The menu is pulled pork sandwiches and sides. Remember to bring $2 to help with lunch cost.
StandFirm Conference
Gentlemen! Mark your calendars for the 6th annual #StandFirm Conference on Saturday, October 5. We are regularly looking for ways to cultivate change in men. The purpose of the Stand Firm Conference is to point the way for men to become all that they should be by bringing strength into balance. This year’s theme: STEADFAST. This year’s speakers include: Jason Bruns (Evidence Church), Joe Skillen (Ridgepoint Church), Joshua Gores (Riverlawn Christian Church), and Seth Philip (Countryside Christian Church). This conference is only $20 and includes breakfast and lunch. Registration is open now! Hope to see you there!
Family Sunday
Kids age four through 5th grade will join their families this Sunday in the main service. During the service, there will be a special packet for kids and a fun children’s sermon. Classes are still available for 0-3 year olds.
Get Away for Middle School

Ladies Game Night
Bring your favorite game to play (board games, cards, etc.) and a snack to share for a fun night of fellowship in the Coffee Shop with other ladies. And for each friend you bring, you will get an entry in a drawing to win a prize!
Men's Ministry Game Night
Men! You're invited to a Game Night with multi-platform video games, VR, board games, and tailgating games on Saturday, September 14, from 6:00-8:30 PM in the Youth Center. This event is for all men ages 12 and over.
Moms Together Kick Off
We are a group of Wichita-area moms of young children (birth-High School) who meet together for coffee, yummy food, community, and a chance to grow as women of God as we hear from guest speakers, discuss videos, and much more. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the each month from 9:15-11:15am, September through May. The cost for the year is $35. Child care is provided for those who register, including an elementary age room for those who homeschool.
"The Toymaker's Gift" First Rehearsal & Auditions
Countryside is starting a youth theater group this Fall called LIT (Light-Inspired Theater)! LIT is for students in grades 1-8, and we are excited to start casting and putting a stage crew together for our first musical, "The Toymaker's Gift"! The performance will be Sunday, December 8 during our 10:00 AM worship service. Rehearsals will be on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 PM beginning September 8. We would love for your student(s) participate! We will hold auditions for speaking and singing roles at the September 8 rehearsal. If your child is not interested in an acting role or solo, they can choose to be in the Ensemble Chorus or the Stage Crew. We will have so much fun learning about all the aspects of theater together, and each rehearsal will have a scripture devotion and snack time. Please bring $10 per child on September 8 to help cover the cost of a show t-shirt, snacks and supplies. We look forward to working with your kids and celebrating the true meaning of Christmas through our production of "The Toymaker's Gift", written by our Worship Pastor, Jon Carmichael.
Rooted Groups Kick Off
Rooted is a ten-week small group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. Together, in a group of 10-15 people from all walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share stories, and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. These spiritual rhythms aren’t new or something the church recently created; they can be found in Acts 2, where the early church began. We will provide you with a trained facilitator to come alongside your group to help you get the most out of the experience.
Rooted is available twice a year, in the Fall and the Spring.

NBTween is a preteen group for 4th & 5th graders that meets every other week immediately following KidZone in the Youth Center for games, Bible study, food, & lots of fun. We serve lunch each time, so we ask each kid to bring $2 to help cover the cost. This week, we will have pizza.
Moms Together: Night Edition
Moms Together: Night Edition is a community for moms of young children where you can connect with other moms to build friendships and grow as women of God together. It is open to all moms of children birth through high school. No child care provided.

Equip Launch for High School
EQUIP LAUNCH | Saturday, August 24 | 9:30 AM- 2:00 PM | First Church of the Nazarene (1400 E. Kellogg Dr.)
EQUIP-LAUNCH is day conference put on by Campus Ministries. It is all about equipping HS & MS Student Leaders. They will talk about what is the gospel. Your students will learn how to share the gospel message through their Campus Bible Group. They will also be given tools to share their faith with their peers. They will enjoy connecting with other student leaders from across the Wichita area. If your student needs a ride, we will meet by the youth center and leave at 8:30 There is no cost.
Ministry Fair
Our Ministry Fair is Sunday, August 18, before and after our 10:00 AM worship service. Stop by the Lobby and check out all the areas of ministry at Countryside that would LOVE to have YOU as a volunteer! You can also join a Rooted Group or Life Group, and sign your kids up to be in our Christmas musical, The Toymaker’s Gift. Get the whole family plugged in at Countryside this Fall!
Simplify Women's Coffee Event
Before Fall activities, join us as we share coffee and discuss ways to simplify and stay focused on Christ during the busy seasons of our lives. This event is open to all ladies middle school age and older.
